Nancy Martin, 70, of Lafayette died at Indiana University Health - Arnett Hospital at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011. She had been failing health for the last two months. She was born May 16, 1941 in New Hampshire to the late David and Dot (Hopkins) Watts. Her marriage was to Tony Martin on March 23, 1962 in Riverside, California. He died January 20, 1983. She had lived in Kokomo and North Carolina before coming to Lafayette. She was a member of East Tipp Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving is a daughter, Robin Sawdey, two sons, Brady Martin (wife:Julie) and Joseph Martin (wife: Dana). Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at East Tipp Baptist Church of Lafayette; Pastor Timothy Faber to officiate. An honorary dinner will be held in the fellowship hall of the East Tipp Baptist Church following the funeral service. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall, Indiana.
