Joyce A. Schuh, 77, of Lafayette, died at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at St. Elizabeth East of Lafayette. She was born June 11, 1933 in Watseka, IL to the late Bernard and Genevieve (Foster) Donahue. She graduated from Holy Family Catholic High School in Beaverville, IL. Her marriage was to Jerome Schuh on July 28, 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Kentland. He survives. She worked as the office manager for United Telephone Company for ten years, and was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed shopping, especially at Macys, gardening, and spending time with her family. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Jane Winslow of Lafayette, and a son, Jeff Schuh (wife: Dana) of Charleston, SC. Joyce cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Sarah Woodward (husband: Dan), Jennifer Starrett (husband: Chuk), Meggan Howell (husband: Ian) and Holly Brooke (husband: Linc), and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Illingworth. Friends may call from 9 a.m. (CDT) until the time of funeral mass at 11 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home of Kentland. Father Robert Bernotas to officiate.
