Raymond F. Collard, Jr., 75, of West Lafayette died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Indiana Veterans Home of West Lafayette. He was born February 27, 1936 in Kankakee County, Illinois to the late Raymond Sr. and Marie (Curwick) Collard. He served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1953-1956. He lived in Monon all his life until he became ill, he then lived in Monticello and West Lafayette. Raymond was a member of the VFW Post 2231 of Monticello and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, sports, and was an avid Colts fan. Surviving are four daughters, Tina Brown (husband: Jeff) of Logansport, Carrie, Theresa and Brenda, and a brother Delbert Collard. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Thane Adams and Kayla Ledman, and a step-grandson, Tommy Brown. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Indiana Veterans Home Chapel, Father David Buckles officiating.
