Jacob Raven, 90, of Kentland died at 6:15 pm, July 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 29, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Albert and Henrietta Fisher Raven. He lived in California for sixty-two years, and has lived in Kentland the past eight years. Mr. Raven was an instructor for California Aeronautical School, later named Northrop University. He was a pilot, and also worked as an airplane mechanic. He enjoyed everything about airplanes. Surviving is a brother, John Raven (wife: Wanda) of Kentland, and a sister, Dorothy Hart of Palos Heights, Illinois.
