Dorothy J. Harmon, 65, of Monon, went to walk with Jesus, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 11:34 p.m. at Lafayette Home Hospital. She was born February 27, 1944 in Logansport. Her first marriage was to Ed Denton. They later divorced. Later, she married Donald E. Harmon on December 21, 1969 in Logansport. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Harmon was a homemaker. She also worked for the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare in the laundry department for 13 years. Dot enjoyed collecting angels, BINGO and spending time with her family, especially her 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Surviving are a daughter, Lorrie M. Burdine (husband: Bryan) of Brookston; three sons, Mark W. Harmon (wife: Shelly) of Monticello, Edward L. Denton and Daniel L. Harmon both of Logansport and two brothers, Danny Wilson (wife: Lynn) of North Carolina and Bob Wilson (wife: Helen) of Logansport. She is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009 and also from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Clapper Family Funeral Home in Monon.
