Joshua Sutton, 62, of Wolcott, died at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. He was born March 23, 1946 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Virginia (Basford) Sutton. He was a 1965 graduate of Remington High School. His marriage was to Tylene Jacoby on July 9, 1966 in Wabash, Indiana. She survives. Mr. Sutton worked various factory jobs during his working years including 15 years at Inland Container in Orlando, Florida and lastly for Dwyer's in Wolcott. He loved traveling, working and collecting decks of playing cards and hats. Mr. Sutton had taken pictures of nearly every state capital in the United States. Surviving with his wife is a son, Robert Sutton (companion: Michelle Mitchell) of Kissimmee, FL and his siblings, Calvin James "Jim" Sutton (wife: Velma) of Francesville, Lorena Poindexter (husband: Tim) of Wolcott, Sarah Fields of Wolcott, David Sutton (wife: LeAnn) of Wolcott and Robert Sutton (wife: Kathy) of Monticello. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Today (Friday) February 13, 2009 in Foster-Clapper Funeral Home of Wolcott. Service there 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009. Interment to follow in Mt. Gilboa Cemetery. Preceding him in death is a brother, Bennie Sutton and a sister, Bertha Nottingham.
