Leona Marie LeSage Blunk, 78, of Monon, died at 2:40 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She was born July 14, 1930 in Donovan, Illinois to the late Philip and Ruby (Winslow) Wolford. Her marriage was to Robert Walter LeSage on July 23, 1948. He died on September 2, 1972. She then married George Henry Blunk on June 29, 1973. He died December 29, 2006. She was employed for several years at Schumacher in Rensselaer, Indiana. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, puzzle books, gardening, canning, fishing and playing cards with family and friends. Surviving are two daughters, Patsy Bulington (husband: Tom) of LaPlata, MO and Roberta Cafin (husband: Mike) of Monon and seven siblings. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved her grandchildren, Heather Gluth(husband: Matt), Jaci Bulington (husband: Jeff), Brian Bulington and Tracie Bulington. She was proud of her seven great-grandchildren with an eighth on the way. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Jeanne Blunk of Monon. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. Service there 10 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2008; the Rev. Steve Sparks to officiate.
