Flossie M. Wilkerson, 95, of Reynolds, died Wednesday, June 4th, 2008, at Monticello Healthcare. She was born December 5, 1913 in Indiana to the late Irma and M.P. Cartmell. As a child her parents moved the family to Montana by covered wagon to homestead. After her parents death Flossie was raised by her Aunt Mary Powell. Her marriage was to Foster Wilkerson on February 27th, 1934. He died June 11, 1980. She was a long standing member of the former Reynolds Christian Church, where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed bowling and fishing with her husband and friends. Surviving is a sister, Vesta Boze; and a daughter, Jayne Mansfield. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: Foster Wilkerson (Husband); Wilbur Wilkerson (Nephew-Whom they raised); Freda Brown (Sister); Charley Cartmell (Brother); and Richard Mansfield (Son-in-Law). Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home, Brookston; Rev. Dr. Lelan D. McReynolds to officiate. Interment to follow in Chalmers Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Monticello Food Bank.
