Anna Elisa Forrer, 81, of Switzerland, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She was in the United States visiting her family and became ill. She was born July 30, 1926 in Goldingen, Switzerland to the late Engelbert & Karolina (Gresch) Guebeli. Mrs. Forrer was a store manager for the Volg Grocery Stores in Umiken & Riniken, Switzerland for over thirty years. She loved her interaction with her customers in the store and was a very hard worker. Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Dunseath (husband: Dr. Rodney Dunseath) of Lafayette and two sons; Peter Forrer (fiancé: Claudia) of Dattwil, CH and Kurt Forrer (wife: Esther) of Mellingen, CH. Anna was a very loving and good mother for her children and also a wonderful grandmother to her two granddaughters Sophia and Sarah. Her ashes will be returned to Switzerland for burial in the Protestent Church Cemetery at Umiken. Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home of Brookston is entrusted with her care.
