Bobby R.(Bob)  Smith Sr, 73 of Delphi passed away unexpectedly at his home in Delphi. He was born August 12,1950 in Yeddo, in Fountain County, IN to the late Ross Edward and Elsie Lucille Davis Smith.  He served in the US Army in Vietnam. He married Wanda Meadows on June 12,1981 and she preceded in death December 11,2019.  He worked at Indiana Packers in Delphi in the sanitation dept until he retired in 2013. Bob lived in Delphi for 32 years.  Bob enjoyed classic cars and enjoyed daytime tv after retiring.  He was a hard working man and he was a devoted father and grandfather.

Bob is survived by his children Tameka Sexton of Lafayette, Kimberly Johnson of Rocky, OK, Amanda (Matthew) Hedges of Otterbein, Bobby R.(Melinda)  Smith Jr. of Indianapolis, grandchildren Kayla Johnson of Otterbein, Michael Maxson of Delphi, Alexandria Maxson of Lafayette, Allyson Johnson of Rocky, OK, Kohle Johnson of Rocky, OK, Drew Johnson, of Rocky,OK  John Smith of Lafayette, Dominick Hedges of Canton, OH, Jordyn Hedges Canton, OH, Mason Hedges of Otterbein, Aalliyah Hedges of Otterbein, and great-grandchildren Emma and Lizzy Johnson of Otterbein.  He was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Ping and a brother Larry Davis.
