Cathy D. Linson, 71, of rural Monticello (Carroll County), Indiana, passed away at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2023, at her home with her family at her side.  

She was born on Saturday, August 4, 1951, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Alonzo and Edna (Ray) Barden.

On July 2, 2000, in Medaryville, Indiana, she married Russell Linson; he survives.  
 
A MEMORIAL CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE WILL BE AT A LATER DATE.   

 

Burial will be Private for the Family.

Biographical Information:
   Cathy had lived in the rural Monticello (Carroll County), Indiana, area for the last twenty - four years, coming from the Rensselaer, Indiana, area.  Prior to living in Rensselaer, Indiana, she had lived in Georgia.  Cathy had a strong faith!!!  She loved and enjoyed her family, fishing, cooking, reading, online games, and her dogs, Jasper, and Tippi.

Tammy (companion Richard Carter) Gladdis of Monon, Indiana,

Clydele Barden of rural Monticello (Carroll County), Indiana, and

Jennifer Pope of Moultrie, Georgia;

 

Two (2) Sons,

Tom (wife Tina) Barden of Vero Beach, Florida, and

Tony (wife Valerie) Barden of Moultrie,  Georgia;

 

Seventeen (17) Grandchildren,

 

Twenty - Four (24) Great Grandchildren;

 

One (1) Sister,

Sandy (husband Steve) Stone of Rensselaer, Indiana;

 

Two (2) Brothers,

Don (wife Susan) Barden of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and

David Barden of Rensselear, Indiana;

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephew, Cousins, and Friends.
