Danny Lee Ayers, 75, of Monticello, Indiana, died on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the St. Elizabeth Health of Delphi, Indiana.

Danny was born on Friday, July 2, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Howard Ayers and Viva (Maggert) Hastings. They both proceeded him in death.

Danny was 1966 graduate of the Twin Lake High School of Monticello, Indiana. Danny had worked for the Old RCA cabinet plant of Monticello, Indiana. Later retiring from Wabash National 2009 after 23 years of service.  Danny loved playing cards with his friends and family.  Danny had lived on the lake for 15 plus years and enjoyed fishing with his friends.  He was an avid water skier and loved boating. Danny loved spending time with family.

Danny is survived by his niece, Bridgette Tieben of Monticello, Indiana; great niece, Ashley (husband Eric) Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana. 

Danny was preceded in death by his, parents, Howard and Viva Hastings; sisters, Hilda Plumb and Betty E. Vore; niece Alissa Tieben.

A private gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 7, 2023.,

A private family celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023.
