Biographical Information:
Debbie received her Associates Degree in I.T. from Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After graduating she began work at the Kokomo Center Township School Corporation, then went onto TSC School Corporation, Sayers Computer, and West Lafayette School Corporation. Debbie was an amazing musician/singer. She had sang in the church choir when she was younger and during her teenage years, she toured with Dottie Rambo. As her children grew older, she started singing country music, and worked at The Little Nashville Opry in Brown County, Indiana, opening for different groups, such as Tanya Tucker, and Mickey Gilley to only name a few. In 1990, Debbie's life and love for music brought her into contact with Jerry, while his band was playing at the Rose in Reynolds, Indiana. Perfect balance between she and Jerry helped form the band "Shotgun". They spent the next nineteen (19) years performing in honky tonks, taverns, and festivals all across Mid North Indiana. Deb was a energetic personable performer, always willing to spend time with their followers. She was a movie "nut", and loved all movies. She was an amazing cook, and baker. Christmas and holidays were her favorite times of the year, whether baking goodies, or creating special gifts for the grandkids. Debbie loved the season. She would enjoy decorating the house with elegant trees, snowmen and her Christmas village. She loved fishing, animals, and especially her dogs, Coco and Chemo. Debbie was an extremely hard worker, refinishing, and remodeling things at home. There wasn't anything she couldn't do from electrical to you name it. Her kids called her "super mom". Debbie loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and all the rest of her family, and they all loved her in return.
