Howard P. Baker, 67, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.  He was born in Lafayette, Indiana on January 19, 1957, the son of William Baker and Mary Jane (Christensen) Baker.  

He graduated from North White High School in 1976.  Howard went on to study at Vincennes University and earned his associate degree in conservation.  He later worked as a carpet layer for many years. 

Howard loved fishing on the lakes.  He was a member of the Redmens  Lodge.  He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Beth Watts; two nieces:  Lauren Coble (Damon) and Lindsey Kelly (Cory Anderson).  Several great nieces and nephews.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents William Baker and Mary Jane (Christensen) Baker; and brother, Maury Baker.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Miller Roscka Funeral Home is honored to be handling arrangements.
