Larry (Butch) Dean Young, II, of Idaville, Indiana, passed away at 3:45 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his residence with his wife and children by his side.

He was born on March 12, 1968, in Logansport, Indiana, to Larry Dean Young and Ruth Ann (Kranz) Young.

On Friday, January 27, 1989, he married Kelly (Cosgray) Young; she survives.

Butch was a graduate of Lewis-Cass High School, he would then go on to graduate with an associate degree from Indiana Weslyn University. Butch worked as a Costing Manager for Wabash and has been working there for 37 years. Butch was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church of Monticello.  Butch was an avid camper and enjoyed travel.

Butch is survived by Kelly, his wife, of Idaville, parents, Larry Young and Ruth Ann (Kranz) Young, Son, Zack (Rachel) Young of Monticello, daughters, Summer (Jason) Ewart of Monticello and Bailey (Michael) Davey, of Noblesville, grandchildren, Ryland and Keegan Ewart of Monticello, Penelope and Milo Young of Monticello, and Franklin Davey of Noblesville, sisters, Tricia (Brett) Harris of Peru, Michelle Jackson (Britt Edwards) of Logansport, Kelly (Bryan) Young of Onward, Indiana.

Visitation will be at the Miller-Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be provided to the Boys and Girls Club of White County.

Celebration of Life Service will be at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Keith Raderstorf officiating.

Burial will follow at Bell Center Cemetery, Royal Center, Indiana.
