Linda Carolyn (Clark) Vincent, age 76, of Monticello, IN, passed away on March 18, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born on April 28, 1947 in Tonganoxie KS, to Doris L. (Bean) and Benjamin T. Clark.

She was born and raised in the Tonganoxie area on the family farm. She spoke often about growing up on that farm and the fond memories she had of her grandparents there.

She was an avid gardener and the family said she had two green thumbs, she could grow anything.  

Linda enjoyed traveling, one of her favorite memories was going to Las Vegas to see Wayne Newton.

Throughout her life, Linda found solace in nature, spending summers camping, fishing, and skiing at the lakes.
She also enjoyed reading, cooking, and crocheting.

In addition to being a homemaker, she had a wide variety of careers throughout her life. She worked with her sister in the ceramics shop and raised fish in her home.

She worked as a data entry clerk and administrative assistant in the late 70s and throughout the 80s. She was a Tupperware consultant for several years.

She retired young and moved to Indiana in the fall of 2003.  

Linda is survived by her children, Stephen (Tammy Edwards) Vincent of Belton, MO, Stacy (Will Hall) Haworth of Monticello, IN, Shawn (Melissa) Vincent of Louisburg, KS, Shelly (Darrell) Slawson of Springfield, MO., 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.  
In addition she is survived by brothers David, Eddie, Ben, and sister Suzzie,  

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tommy, grandson Hunter, and great grand-daughter Emerson.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be given to the Twin Lakes Garden Club, c/o TLHS, Elizabeth Andrews, 300 S. 3rd. Street, Monticello, IN  47960.
