Biographical Information:
Lois was residing in Lafayette, Indiana and was formerly of Knox, Indiana. She was a retired R.N. of the Starke County Memorial Hospital after 48 plus years of service. She retired when she was seventy-two (72) years of age. Lois was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority, the Red Hat Society and attended the Knox United Methodist Church all of Knox, Indiana. She enjoyed and did a lot of quilting and needle point work. Lois was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling when she was able.
Special Services:
Memorial Information: May be given to the American Heart Assocaition, or to the Starke County Historical Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On February 8, 1947, at Lois's moms house in Royal Oaks, Michigan, she married Clarence "Snuffie" Swanson. He died April 25, 2003.

Daughter, Ellen ( Husband William "Bill" ) Clark of West Lafayette, Indiana;Granddaughter,Dr. Krista Marie Clark ( Husband Shawn ) Cline of West Lafayette, Indiana;Grandson,Greg ( Wife Tammy ) Clark of Rockford, Illinois;Great Grandsons,Camden, Brenner Cline and one on the way in April;Nephew,Dr. Jack ( Wife Mae ) Berry of Shreveport, Louisiana;Several other Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
