Biographical Information:
Lucille was a graduate of the Godwin High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After high school she attended Alma College in Alma Michigan, and graduated from Physical Therapy College in Chicago, Illinois. Lucille also graduated from the Hammond Business College in Hammond, Indiana. She had worked for over forty years in multiple hospitals and offices. After retirement she moved to Monticello, Indiana, coming from Griffith, Griffith. She began working for White County Council on Aging and then the Monticello Fire Department in the front office. Lucille was deeply involved in Lutheran Women’s Missionary League over the years, holding several offices. She also was most recognized for her time in the LWML Thrivent Financial office and activities with the Lutheran Braille Workers. Lucille was a member of St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting for various charities. Lucille also volunteered at the local nursing homes for several years. She loved spending time with friends doing card parties and planning shopping trips together.

Memorial Information: May be given to St. James Lutheran Church of Reynolds, Indiana. Envelopes are available at the funeral or memorials may be mailed to the funeral home in honor of Lucille.
Marriage Information: On July 27, 1944 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Whiting, Indiana, she married John M. Chutka. He died January 4, 1985.
