Ola P. "Susie" Speer, 78, of Yeoman, Indiana, died on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 2:44 a.m., in the IU Health Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ola was born on Sunday, August 26, 1945, in Rushville, Indiana to Harry Holmes and Ruth (Huffman) Holmes. They both preceded her in death.

On Friday, May 16, 1969, she married Bertice Eugene Speer. He died in 1980.

Ola had lived in the Yeoman, Indiana area most all her life. Enjoyed spending time with her family. Susie loved animals and truly enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard. She had heart of gold and always looking to help someone.

Ola is survived by her son, Kevin Speer of Yeoman, Indiana; granddaughter, Jaleza J. Speer of Yeoman, Indiana; great granddaughter, Jordan Speer; brothers, Alvin Holmes of Rushville, Indiana and Butch Holmes of Monticello, Indiana.

Ola was preceded in death by her husband, Bertice E. Speer, and granddaughter, Jerrica A. Speer.
