Biographical Information:
Buck was born in the home in which he lives in and was a 1956 graduate of the Monon High School of Monon, Indiana. He spent most of his life farming and retiring in 1991. Buck then partnered with a friend and bought the Howe Insurance Agency of Monon, Indiana. In 2000, at almost 62 years of age, Buck and his wife Angela started their own business, Hess Agri-Insurance, Inc., in an office behind their home. Their son Dan worked with them in the business. He was a member of the Monon Wesleyan Church in Monon, Indiana. Buck enjoyed woodworking and has made many items for family and friends. He loved people and if he didn't know you he would shortly. His greatest joy was his family and he passed away the day before his favorite family gathering Christmas Eve. His family will never forget what a gift he was and will always be to them. He is known as Uncle Buck and PaPaw Buck to more children he was not related to than he could count, some being in their fifties now and as young as four years old.

Memorial Information: Memorials may be given to the Down Syndrome of Indiana, 2625 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208, the Diabetes Association or to the wishes of the donor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Marriage Information: On June 2, 1979 at the 9th Street Christian Church in Logansport, Indiana he married Angela M. Warner. She survives.
