Steve also managed a Little League team for many years with his best friend Carl Ward, and of course the name of their team was the "Cubbies". Many of his players are leaders in this community. He played the saxaphone, and loved to dance to the big band era music. Steve loved to attend every ballgame of his granchildren, and great-grandchilren played and was their number one fan. Steve and wife AnnaBelle loved to travel and spent 20 years of retirement doing just that. He and his wife were able to go to Haiti and work with many projects for many years.
